During my mission work as a Pastor in Liberia and Sierra Leone I saw children and people limbs chopped off by warlords and many of the victims are stigmatized today in African society . I felt their pain and plead with global good hearted people to help me bring this help of prosthetic limbs to them, with the aid of prosthetic limbs living will be easier. Grant is highly appreciated. Also, I am the host of charity marathon to bring support to the homeless and substance abusers in California, which the event of charity marathon is coming up soon in Los Angeles . In Ghana I founded children's republic reality show by putting book in hand of every child and education scholarship for intelligent but needy children and other humanitarian aid of clean and safe water to villages in african countries. I am Pastor Jude Odim, founder of Hallowed Outreach Worldwide aka Hallowed Chapel International.There are almost 5,000 identified people in California above/ below the age of 30 who are homeless and drug abusers. Most of them need temporary accommodation and feeding to gain mental balance. Consequently we are planning our Charity Marathon for two primary reasons To create awareness of their plight with a view to generating social interventions in their favor from various segments of society including corporate California, religious bodies and institutions, NGOs, well meaning individuals and government itself, by leveraging on the publicity the charity marathon will generate. To raise actual funding to commence a program to aid all homeless and drug abusers by providing shelter and feeding support as well as iconic character mentorship speakers. This would demonstrate clearly to all that charitable interventions by well-meaning enterprise, institutions and individuals in California can more or less eradicate this unfortunate situation in California. We strongly believe this situation is an indictment on our collective national and social consciousness and needs to be corrected as soon as possible, more so when the implementation of an effective solution is restrained only by financial constraints and not by logistical considerations. THE PROPOSED EVENT We are chosen to organize a charity marathon as the vehicle for creating awareness of the situation and raising requisite funds to change it. This choice is the result of two primary considerations Being a exercise that requires physical capacity the marathon would serve to remind participants and other stakeholders of just how fortunate they are to be sheltered by important of true home, which in turn should remind them of how problematic and inconvenient it is to be homeless and drug oppressed.
